Chic Eyes Optical, located in King City, Ontario, is all about giving patients an amazing experience from the comprehensive eye exam to the selection of the perfect frame and lenses. Educating patients, along with providing exceptional customer service are the key mandates of the practice.
We are currently looking for a Licensed Optician, who has a passion for eyewear, dedicated work ethic, and outstanding customer service and sales abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Select frames based on patient’s needs and preferences
- Ability to accurately transpose patient prescriptions, and identify best lens options
- Ability to speak to frame and lens brands, when providing information to patients
- Precise accuracy in taking and recording measurements, and fitting eyewear
- Ability to adjust frames, complete repairs, and trouble shoot issues/concerns
- Manage all inventories (i.e. frame, contact lenses, misc.) and ensure accuracy
- Perform general office duties, such as: receiving deliveries, ordering inventory, completing insurance paperwork for patients, processing payments, and general housekeeping
Qualifications:
- Registered Optician (Ontario College of Optician Registration)
- Knowledge of different frame brands and lenses, would be an asset
- Exceptional communication, customer service, and problem solving skills
- Proficient in exercising initiative, judgement, and decision making skills
- Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail abilities
- Ability to keep updated on product knowledge, and fashion trends
