Doig Optometry is a full scope optometry practice in central Calgary, at Heritage Drive and MacLeod Trail south. Our hours of operation are Monday 9-5, Tuesday 9 am-8 pm, Wednesdays 9-5, Thursday 9-5, and Friday 7 am-3. We are Closed on Weekends. We are currently hiring One Full Time Optometric Assistant or two Part Time Optometric Assistants to cover the Full Time Position Available. Experience in any or all of the following will be an asset and remuneration ($18.00 - $30.00 per hour) will be commensurate with the capabilities and experience of the candidates.

Telephone Triage of Eye Care Emergencies
Eye Exam Scheduling and Recall
Pre-Testing related to Vision Care including Photography, OCT, Corneal Topography, and Lensometry.
Visual Field Testing
Contact Lens Dispensing
Frame Selection and Eyeglass Dispensing
Alberta Health Care Submissions and Reconciliations For Optometry Billings
Private and 3rd Party Insurance Claims and Reconciliation For Eye Exams, Eyeglass and Contact Lens Purchases.
Patient Recall for Routine Eye Exams and for Monitoring of Ocular Health Disorders.
