New Vista Optometry was established 3 years ago to provide the ocular needs of a growing neighbourhood in the Kilally Valley Community in northeast London, Ontario. Our passion is to serve the community and to give our patients unsurpassed optometric and optical care. We are a primary care practice that serves everyone from infants to nonagenarians and their families, in a warm, positive, friendly environment.
The successful candidate is an experienced and emotionally mature individual. They are a warm, professional team member who enjoys building relationships with patients and co-workers alike. Strong communication skills are a part of their fabric, with a passion for excellent customer service to patients and commitment to supporting other team members. They are energetic, highly self-motivated, able to multitask, can work independently and can excel in a busy environment. Time management is one of their greatest assets as well as problem solving and critical thinking. They are patient and kind, and enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds. Life-long learning is a passion. They must be punctual, reliable and trustworthy. They present themselves and dress in a professional manner. Precision and attention to detail is important to them and they take pride in a job well done. They are respectful with patients, other team members and vendors in person, on the phone and digitally.
Duties include:
Performance of Humphrey Visual Fields of various types for a wide range of patients.
