Optician/Eyewear Expert/Optical Dispenser (220814)
Our clinic is looking for an experienced optician, full-time or part-time to join our friendly, diverse and warm SW Calgary office.
We are looking for an individual who loves to help people, loves the optical/optometry field, and works well in a team driven environment.
We will be delighted to have an individual who is a great team player and can also work independently with little or no supervision.
You will be responsible for but not limited to:
• Fitting, selling and dispensing glasses to give our patients the Spectacular look they deserve
• Meet with frame reps to facilitate frame selection and to make the best choice of frames for inventory update.
• Repairing, adjusting and troubleshooting patient issues and concerns.
• Helping with patient education on eye wear and their uses
• Billing health care and insurances, booking appointments, triage-ing phone calls
•Handling patient recalls for upcoming exams and for yearly exams
