Why We Need You:
Our Practice Coach is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience with you and join us as our newest Optician.
This position is a full-time, permanent role working up to 40 hours per week. Must be able to work Saturdays.
What Will You Be Doing?
• Educating clients about the best eyewear choices for their lifestyle, ensuring they receive the best in value and quality
• Performing frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning of new eyewear and performing repairs and adjustments to returning patients'
• Communicating with patients in person, by phone, and by email
• Administering pre-testing services.
• Billing the patient, their medical service provider and other third parties
• Managing appointment bookings and ensuring patient data is accurate and up to date
• Contributing to store retail sales goals
• Upholding excellent customer service standards using your charisma and problem-solving skills
What Do You Bring?
· • Minimum five years’ experience in an optical environment.
· • Previous experience in a customer-facing, preferably retail environment preferred
· • A high level of comfort using technology and computers with solid proficiency in MS Office Suite
· • A great communicator who can provide exceptional patient care
