Perception Eyecare is a modern optometry clinic and optical boutique that offers vision services and eyewear in Stoney creek. We are looking for a friendly and motivated full-time receptionist/optometric assistant to join our passionate and exciting team. Position Summary:
The ideal applicant is proactive, organized, and committed to providing an outstanding patient experience with a smile. Ability to learn quickly and great computer skills are required. You will be providing patients with a positive first and lasting impression of the office. You must be able to respond to the needs of patients and our optometrists efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner.
Duties Include:
Managing patient clinic flow throughout office
Answering telephone calls
Greeting customers and checking patients in for their appointments
Scheduling, and managing patient appointments in the EMR database
Pre-testing for patient's eye examinations
Assist patients and customers with frame selection and sales of glasses
Authorizing insurance and billing
Qualifications:
Minimum high school diploma required
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint), Adobe PDF, and excellent computer skills will be required
Works well in a team, and self-motivated
Must be able to work flexible hours, evenings and Saturdays.
